Sandy Camp
San Diego Polymer Clay Guild
About Us
This is an annual polymer clay retreat put on by the San Diego Polymer Clay Guild (www.sdpcg.com). For 5 days we combine our creative energy to laugh, share, inspire, create and have fun. At “Sandy Camp” we offer different demos given by nationally acclaimed artists; a workspace to do independent work on clay; artist showcase/store; swaps; friday night social fun event; and Saturday Night Family Feast (meal included). Perhaps the most anticipated event is the Saturday Night Opportunity Drawing.
The San Diego Polymer Clay Guild has been having this wonderful retreat since 1999. The first year was held in Imperial Beach. It then was moved to Old Town San Diego. In 2001, it migrated a bit north to Warner Springs Ranch, just outside of Julian. With the closing of Warner Springs Ranch, Sandy Camp moved to the Temecula Creek Inn in Temecula, California in 2011. In 2015 we came back to our roots and host the event in San Diego, We are currently looking into venues and will keep you updated
